A female youth founded cleaning company. The idea was born out of assisting my mother who has been a domestic worker for the past 19 years. I wanted to take her years of cleaning experience, professionalism and attention to detail combined with my formal education and training and package all of these into one large skill set which can be utilised on a larger scale. The heart and core of the business is to satisfy customer needs and give them the clean spaces they desire whilst progressively breaking my family out of the cycle of poverty. How will you use the R100k prize in your business?
The prize will be used for following:
1. Purchase the basic/standard cleaning equipment that we require such as janitorial trolleys, wringer, buckets, detergents, etc.
2. The design and creation of uniforms to create a sense of unity and neatness in our organisation and amongst our staff.
4. The renting of an affordable business office for a period of 12 months. An ideal place for clients to practically get in touch with us and a place where we can run the business with ease.
3. Marketing and advertising by printing business flyers and business cards as well as paid social media sponsorships to reach a larger crowd.
